About
J Sherer – Writer
J resides in Southern California (but not close enough to the beach). His previous works have appeared in Dragons, Knights, and Angels Magazine, The West Wind, and the science fiction anthology Infinite Space, Infinite God (Twilight Times Books, August 2007 – look for the sequel sometime in 2010!).
Having graduated with an MBA from Azusa Pacific University, and working a day job as a marketing supervisor, J is always looking for strategic ways to market Timeslingers (if you’ve got any, please post them on the blog!).

Nathan Scheck – Illustrator
Besides illustration, Nathan also handles design and programming for Timeslingers.com, and generally just tries to keep everything from breaking. Luckily, his undergraduate art minor and computer science master’s degree prove to be somewhat helpful in these endeavors.
When not coding or illustrating professionally, Nathan usually ends up doing more of the same anyway for his own (suspect) purposes. His art blog, AlbinoKraken.com, being just one example.
Two years ago Nathan and I started formalizing an idea that would bring our online time travel adventure series to life. We had just one question: What if we brought a classic newspaper serial to the Internet? Timeslingers was born.
Why time travel? We needed something that would allow us to bring diverse scenarios to life and leave readers wanting more. But, with installments comprising less than 350 words, we didn’t have much time to hook readers. Time travel allows us to keep the story sprinting forward while staying fresh.
Updated every Monday and Thursday, Timeslingers is meant to offer you a quick break from your daily activities (each installment takes less than 5 minutes to read). We hope you enjoy it!
